I had to re-install Windows 7 OS along with everything else on my desktop. Before that, the laserjet printer was up and running fine. Now, I am using the cd that came with the printer in hopes of re-installing the software.

But the install stops with two messages: I am not the administrator (BUT I AM and the only user on the pc) and second, the operating system on this computer does not match the supported operating system; it lists every OS before Windows 7. It seems that the software pre-dated Windows 7. There must be an update to download.So: I searched the downloads for HP and am only confused. I see driver updates but that is not what I need.????
